Three ways to grow your super now

There are a number of different ways you can help grow your super and thankfully they don't have to be a strain on your hip pocket.

Make additional contributions

You might want to make additional contributions. These can be a regular set amount or a once off contribution - you decide. And remember, depending on your circumstances, if you make a personal contribution to your super, you might be entitled to receive a Government co-contribution - that's just like getting money for free!

Rollover to save fees

And of course you can always rollover your super so that you are paying fewer fees because all of your super is in one place with GuildSuper.

Choose an appropriate investment strategy

Choosing an appropriate investment portfolio can make all the difference to your super savings. GuildSuper helps you choose an appropriate level of risk and return for your money by providing an investment strategy that changes when you do. It's called Trustee Choice and works on the principle that as you get older your tolerance for risk reduces. As you move closer to retirement, GuildSuper will move you into a portfolio with more conservative assets. By doing this your chance of receiving a negative return when you are closer to drawing on your savings is reduced.

Of course as everyone's situation is different you can also choose from any combination of GuildSuper's eight investment portfolios.

If you're not sure how your super is invested, visit your account online by clicking on the Member Online Access button on the top right of the screen. You'll need your member number and PIN. If you don't have these, call Member Services on 1300 361 477 to have your PIN reset.
