Member FAQs

Once you have read the Product Disclosure Statement you should complete the attached Member application form. If you are employer sponsored, your employer will need to complete an Employer Application form and Contribution Schedule.

If not, and you are applying independent of an employer sponsor, include a cheque or Direct Debit request for your first contribution, or a Rollover form to rollover funds from another institution.

Your Account details, such as your name, address and member number will be confirmed to you in a welcome pack.

  • Make a one-off contribution, by mailing a cheque with a Personal Contribution form, OR BPAY.

  • Make regular contributions, by completing the Direct Debit request form and mail or fax it to us. To stop the Direct Debit payments you will need to advise us in writing.
  • Arranging to have contributions deducted from your pre-tax salary by your employer who will then send the contribution to GuildSuper (this is called salary sacrifice).

Your superannuation is generally payable on retirement, permanent disablement, death or in other circumstances set out in superannuation law. When you are eligible to access your benefit it can be paid to you as a lump sum or it may be used to purchase a pension. To withdraw or rollover your benefit please call Member Services on 1300 361 477 8am to 7pm (AEST) Monday to Friday.

You can easily rollover your other super accounts into your GuildSuper account by completing the Rollover form. Once we receive your Rollover form we will contact your previous super fund on your behalf and instruct them to transfer any money into GuildSuper. You will be advised in writing once the rollover has been received.

You can nominate which portfolio(s) you would like your money invested in by selecting them on the application form. You can change this investment choice at any time by completing an Investment Details form.

If you do not select an investment portfolio or if your employer has selected GuildSuper on your behalf, your funds will be invested according the Trustee Choice Age Based default, until you make your own selection (if any).

Trustee Choice invests your contributions in a portfolio that matches the risk profile for your age.

The Product Disclosure Statement contains more information about your investment options.
