How to access your super account

3 November 2025

Super basics

To see your superannuation balance, account details and other information about your personal account, you’ll need to log in, because this information is private.

You can do this via web browser or using the GuildSuper app.

On the web

When you visit the GuildSuper website using your internet browser, you’ll find the Log in button in the top right. Click here and you’ll be asked to enter the email address and password that you registered with.

If you don’t have your login details, the login screen will give you the option to either:

If you’ve forgotten your password. You’ll get an email helping you to set a new one. Use a strong, unique password and save this to your browser or a secure password-storing app.

In the app

If you don’t have the GuildSuper app, you can grab it from your phone’s app store. You’ll need your login details to get set up, and to create a PIN, but once that’s done you can set up security biometrics like your Face ID or thumbprint, if your phone has that feature, to help protect your account and make it easy to log in in future.

You can also use the app to log in for the first time and create a strong, secure password – make sure this is saved somewhere safe.

Why we use two-factor login

It makes login a two-step process, but multi-factor authentication exists to protect your account from cyber criminals.

Any accounts you have that has money going in or out of it should always use multi-factor login, to protect yourself against password hacking. That’s why you should always use strong, unique passwords on these accounts, too.

How to view your balance

On the web

As soon as you log in, you’ll see your balance in the top left of the screen, under your name and member number. Below, you’ll be able to see how your super balance has changed over time, as your returns and contributions are added each business day.

In the app

As soon as you log in, you’ll arrive at the Home screen. You can return here any time by tapping the little House icon. The first thing you’ll see is your balance, with the name of your superannuation investment option underneath.

Your balance is part of your net worth, and is quietly working away for your future. It’s updated every business day as your returns and contributions are added to your account, so it will change over time. Sometimes, if investment markets are facing challenging conditions, you might see your balance go down. When this happens it’s important to remember that superannuation is a long-term investment and is designed to recover from these downturns and continue to grow over time.

Where to find your member number

Your member number is at the top of the latest email newsletter from us! It should appear right under your name. You can also find it in your website member portal, and in the app, after you’ve logged in.

On the web

You need to log in to see your member number (see ‘How to access your account’). Look for your name in the top left, and the member number is right underneath.

It also appears on the virtual membership card to the right of your account history, along with all the other numbers you need to share with your new employer if you change jobs.

In the app

When you log into the app, you can also see your 6-digit member number on an account details card, right underneath your balance. It also appears on the virtual membership card underneath, along with all the other numbers you need to share with your new employer if you change jobs.

What else can I do in the member portal?

Your essential superannuation numbers – balance, member number, Fund ABN and USI and account history, are all available in both the app and the online member portal on the website. Both also allow you to set up and register for your account, and view and edit your profile. You’ll also be able to apply for or adjust your insurance.

In the app

There are heaps of features for checking and managing your super in the app, including ‘find and combine’ any other super funds into your GuildSuper/Child Care Super account - and you can also set payment notifications and manage your profile.

The app homepage also lets you link your debit or credit card to activate our member rewards program, SUPERSUPER, which adds a percentage of your spend to your super every time you shop at participating stores.

On the web

The website’s member portal does everything the app does, but also has a raft of extra features, like a calculator to show how your super is expected to grow over time, access to our 360Health wellness cover, and a Learning Hub packed with advice for growing your money, building good habits and generally wrapping your head around this whole investment thing. Jump in and explore!

Remember, if you get stuck you can reach out to our customer support team, or make an appointment with our team of coaches who love helping our members get their super sorted. There’s no extra cost for any of this – it’s all included in your super!
